SEC and FINRA Statement on Crypto Custody Issues
« on: July 11, 2019, 07:59:54 PM »
Released this week, the Customer Protection Rule will be an ongoing discussion among both the SEC and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

'The purpose of the Customer Protection Rule is to safeguard customer securities and funds held by a broker-dealer, to prevent investor loss or harm in the event of a broker-dealer’s failure, and to enhance the Commission’s ability to monitor and prevent unsound business practices.'

I am interested to see this conversation heat up over time due to 1. the travel rule and 2. impact of Facebook

What are your thoughts on where this will go?
